Classless Creative

The creative industry is an elite club of privileged, white people. If you’re working class, you’re expected to assimilate to their culture. I want to change that.

OUR STORY

Born from determination

Making the creative industry more diverse is something I’m very passionate about.

By luck, I managed to get a foot in the door, and the pressure to wash away my working class roots has been intense.

So I want to use my experience in the industry to educate companies on how to truly celebrate differences in class.

  • “I got tired of companies hiring diverse talent, but having no interest in understanding the cultural, social, and emotional differences they may have.”

    Elin Butler

  • “Celebrating the varied and rich experience and lens working class people have on the world.”

OUR PURPOSE

Classless Creative works with community organisations to empower people who identify as working class to feel confident entering the creative industries. They also work with companies to educate them on how to not only find, but also nurture, working class talent.
